Osteopathy is a method, a philosophical approach to health care.  It is not a set of techniques, and is not focused on the disorder, but the person, and how they can be helped though working hands on within their body and person, to supprt their self-healing and self-regulatory dynamics.  It is a metaphsyiological biological approach enacted with the person, and using the experience and understanding of the practitioner. The osteopathic method is applicable in any and all clinical and healthcare situations and setting.
