About the event
Content – theory, assessment and treatment approaches for: Infant unsettledness, feeding problems, birth trauma, early development and reflexes, plagio and postural asymmetry, colic and reflux, general movement dynamics. Caroline is very experienced in paediatric osteopathy and courses include extensive anatomy, physiology, the latest evidence, lots of osteopathic principles in context and a non-cranial approach to exploring infants and children. The course will cover all dynamics of cranial mechanics, fluids inc csf, movements, sensitivities, autonomics, intraosseous strain, birth stresses, innervation, social engagement and bonding, tissue reflexes, development and coordination, suck and latch, tongue tie, and lots more. This course suits novice practitioners as well as more experienced osteopaths. Includes 4 days of F2F in-person lectures in Nelson, and then the Frisdya is in York for clinical demonstration with infants. Includes extensive online emodule for pre-reading, recordings of all lectures, lots of articles and resources and videos.
